E-commerce order kits: the buying brief
Keep small cartons supported so they cannot migrate into unused box space.
Match the receiving warehouse’s accepted footprint and handling system. Collars change the outside pack and the way a mixed load is accessed.
Fit the system to the actual pack

| Receiving site | Confirm outside footprint, usable depth, base acceptance and the unloading arrangement. |
| Delivery enquiry | Provide the full Bristol postcode, quantities and vehicle access for quotation. |
Keep the load and the enclosure separate
A wooden collar provides perimeter containment. The base supports the load and the inner pack controls movement and protection. Confirm all three against the goods rather than transferring a rating from another pallet or box. Use the matching collar product guide to discuss the components offered.
Plan the receiving and return process
For e-commerce order kits, the packing decision starts with this specific check: Keep small cartons supported so they cannot migrate into unused box space. Agree how the receiver opens the pack and removes the items. Where packaging is returned, record the expected condition of boards, hinges, lid and internal fittings before the set is used again.
