Inspect before assembly
Check boards, hinge attachment, damage and contamination. Withdraw unsuitable components and follow the receiving site’s acceptance policy. Folding successfully does not establish that a collar is suitable for transport.
Store and return the components
Plan supported empty storage and protect the components from avoidable moisture exposure. Record the folded space and hinge projections when allocating a return load. Agree ownership of bases, collars and accessories.
Keep the approved pack consistent
Record the accepted configuration and check it again if the goods, base or handling process changes. Export systems may also need authorised treatment and marking advice after repair.
